Summary: Overall not the greatest place to stay. The pool was closed without notice a big letdown. the room and hotel was dirty and needed a lot of updates. The room was 2 out of 5 as the microwave and phone did not work. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice except for not being supplied with toilet paper. I would pass on this hotel in the future as their are many better options for a slightly higher price.

Summary: At check-in I was given key cards that didn't work. Then I found out the room was occupied. Another employee said they make mistakes like that all the time. Was given a new room. I was given a Gatorade for the inconvenience. Knock at the door at 10:50 pm by "housekeeping" (it was the barkeep). They opened the door before I could get to the door. They said it was to see if the room was occupied Had to ask for more towels. Never delivered. Room had soap and lotion but no shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast was tiny muffins in bags and some fruit and coffee that I didn't try. Pool and spa/hot tub closed indefinitely. Hall on first floor smells bad and would be a problem for asthmatics. The smell didn't really permeate the room though. Bathroom door didn't close and latch properly. Lack of luggage carts. It's not all bad. The hotel was quiet. Maybe because they have a form relating to their $30 deposit listing forbidden activities like parties and forbidden things like rose petals, glitter, and silly string. It also says a max of 1 child per room. I would like to think that they are taking an old hotel and refreshing it to make it nice again. I like the ye olde Holi-dome format (rooms surrounding and looking out over a common pool and play area). Except that was all closed. Had booked two double beds, got a king and a double. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was cold. Water pressure was great. Lots of parking space, mostly empty.

Summary: Overall the hotel was clean and the people were fabulous. The hotel is somewhat dated and was having many issues I think that were due to recent heavy rains. I saw multiple buckets catching dripping water, and an entire hall was blocked off with an industrial fan blowing.

Summary: So this property is very large, but quite outdated. They have started renovations and because of this- many amenities are closed. So no pool, no hot tub, no bar or restaurant. No biggie- we just wanted a place to sleep. Check in was easy and the attendant was super friendly. She gave us a razor and an extra blanket with a smile. Walking to our room you could tell renovations were needed, but our room was still clean and comfortable. The only thing I found “not clean” was the carpets which were sticky. This definitely could have been from age, but I wore shoes the entire time. Overall, I would use them again in a pinch- but if I had the option to go elsewhere with with working amenities I may do that. Would definitely give them a tray again once renovations are complete.
